Visitors of about 10,000 a day would have to be measured to overload a 1Gb bandwith. If your site becomes this busy, Well Done. You won`t mind moving up a Gb or two. All web hosting plans will include a control panel for you to manage your website and emails (generally Cpanel), along with the ability to install other types of website such as forums, blogs, content management systems (Joomla, PHP Nuke) are Mysql based, this is a database driven site and requires constant stored information to retrieve data for all the users stored in its system and can be server intense. This means you will need a host that has servers at their prime above 4Gb Ram at least.

Web Hosting Extras

What your web host offers as extras is what should make the difference when choosing your host. Quite a lot of them now offer some kind of easy website builder, some don`t. The ones that do offer this, is it updated reguraly to offer new templates, is it easy to follow the set up instructions. Perhaps it has video instructions? The next kind of extra shouldn`t really be seen as an extra as web hosting is a customer related business, but support for all of its clients is a must. A lot of people think this is only going to be found at its best with the top web hosting or more renowned web hosting companies but take a spin around the web hosting forums and review sites and you`ll find this is not quite true, as the bigger the company the smaller your requests seem to be.

In short then a web hosting company should fit your needs not theirs. You are the customer and you need to know what you want and make the fit with the web hosting company. Don`t look at it as they give me this – this and this, you probably won`t need all or any of it.
